DUCATI HYPERMOTARD REVIEW
Hypermotard has always been recognized by fans around the world and is a Ducati bike and convenience store. The Hypermotard is a supermotard, with the Ducati Hypermotard 2019 working environment and a motocross chassis, but with the performance and spirit of the sports bike. However, in India, Ducati Hypermotard did not benefit from the popularity and success of its brothers, such as the Ducati Scrambler, the Ducati Monster 821 and even the Multistrada group. For the year 2019, the Ducati Hypermotard 950 replaced the Hypermotard 939, which is actually a brand-new motorcycle with a new engine, new chassis, pendants and improved electronics.
Today we drove the Ducati Hypermotard 950 SP on a small track and the standard Ducati Hypermotard 950 on the winding mountain roads of Spain’s Gran Canaria, off the northwest coast of Africa.
Hypermotard 950 is not only 939 modified or upgraded, the new 937 cc teststretta is the L-twin engine that receives new presses with high compression ratio, new exhaust cam profile, new 53 mm body and new engine layout. The magnesium cylinder head reduces the weight of 1.5 kg, 2019 of the Ducati Hypermotard, and the L-Twin knocks torque of 96 nm at 114 hp and 7,250 rpm at 9000 rpm. But it’s about how the torque spreads – 82 per cent of the torque is at 3000 rpm, and 88 per cent torque is available from 5000 to 9,500 degrees. The result is that it has a large drag force, directly from the small gorge chimney and all the way to the red line.
Hypermotard has an upright ride mode and is available in two different types – the Ohlins Suspension with the Standard Hypermotard 950 and the Top-Shelf Hypermoderd 950 SP, and the Marchesini Fake and Standard Up / Quickshift lightweight wheels. The Hypermotard 950 “2019 Ducati Hypermotard has proposed a 200 kg weight reduction, a fully adjustable Marzocchi Front Fork and rear mono shock belts. In variable SP seat height, the more travelling suspension, the weight of 198 kg is 2 kg lightweight. There is also an entirely new range of electronic devices, which have an IUI six axes, which provide an ABS system for the angle, and a brake and brake, as well as wheelchair control.
Today we started on the outskirts of Las Palmas around the small Palasomas go-cart while testing the HyperMotor 950 SP. The main difference between the Hypermotard 950 and 950 SP “2019 Ducati Hypermotard” is at the height of suspension, wheels, tires and seats. The front Ohlins fork is fully adjustable, and the standard Hypermotard 950 is more than 15 mm from Marzocchi Thorn flights. The Marchesini wheels are counterfeit lightweight and Pirelli is viscous with supercars rubber, which is the right track to use. Ducati Hypermotard is famous for its hideous character. Experienced riders have discovered their full potential on the track – sliding around the corners, moving the wheels directly on the tracks, and sometimes on the narrow technical path through the whistles.
For me, this was a completely different experience. This was my first time riding a super motorcycle, and the straight ride and long seat length did not come back naturally, especially when it came to a narrow-angle. Just to keep things straight – the 860mm seat height in the Ducati Hypermotard 2019 stands at the top of the Triumph Tiger 800 XCx setting, and the seat height on the HyperMotor 950 SP is 890 mm! To make things worse, the first session began on the track in the mode of roaming; the fast and narrow track is not ideal, where you need to speed, work hard and speed up the tightness coming from a narrow-angle.
Both the HyperMotor 950 and 950 SP share the same electronics package, so there is a good enough safety net – ABS brakes (brake brakes), traction control, and wheelchair control are all operated by the Inertial Inertia Unit (IMU). . SP also has a fast up / down meter that works like a dream, and you can forget the clutch lever in a short time! But my mind was not on electronics – after the first session, I had to bring the bike home safely.
In the sessions of the following two tracks, I became more adventurous and started playing with different personal standards of riding mode, traction control and ABS. If I have, it controls the different riding modes and parameters – they are not comfortable and at least for me, it takes a long time to use. I struggled to change settings on the fly, and even with a bicycle standing on the pits, I had to get help to get those settings I needed. But once in the sport mode, I started looking for things and started to enjoy.
The Hypermotard 950 SP, although my speed in my group around the track was still the slowest. With a weight of up to 198 kg, the long ride and seat height, and 114 horsepower on the tap, for me, is the super-engine SP engine around the 2019 Ducati Hypermotard, the little track was more mental than the PanGel V4! It’s certainly heavy, but until I started to rest with the bike, our three small courses were nearly over and I learned the Chekshar flag. Well, it’s time to create a hole, eat a quick lunch and then go out in the mountains with 950.
