Pro Kabaddi Final, Bengaluru Bulls vs Gujarat Fortunegiants Final Highlights:

Bengaluru Bulls beat Gujarat Fortunegiants in the Pro Kabaddi Season 6 final at the [email protected] SVP Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday to lift their maiden trophy. Both the sides had been previous runner-ups but Bengaluru made a brilliant comeback in the second half of the final match to win the battle as well as the title.

This is Bengaluru’s second consecutive win against the same team. Gujarat first went down to Bengaluru in the Qualifier 1 and had to fight their way to the final before the new champions ruled the mat to take home the title of Season 6.

    That’s it folks, Bengaluru Bulls have beat Gujarat Fortunegiants 38-33 to lift maiden title. Pawan Sehrawat ends final with 22 points. A stunning comeback win for the Bulls who were chasing the match in the first half but came to their own in the second to lift title.

    What a time to effect the super raid as Bengaluru win four points courtesy of Pawan Sehrawat. The star Bengaluru raider has brought him A game in the second half and because of that his team are on the verge of winning the title. Bengaluru lead 36-29.

    Pawan Sehrawat wins back to back raid points once more and Bengaluru take a two-point lead with two minutes left to be played in the match. Another time out taken by the officials.

    Super raid from Rohit Gulia and he wins two points for Gujarat Fortunegiants. But more importantly, Pawan heads off the court now as he was one of the defenders who was touched by Rohit. Gujarat now lead 27-26.

    Pawan Sehrawat gets rid of final two defenders of Gujarat and affects an all-out in the process. Pawan wins four points from his raid and Bengaluru lead 23-22 with 9 minutes to go in the match.

    Bengaluru’s Pawan wins back to back raid points and keep his good run in second half going. Sachin finally wins a raid point to end Gujarat’s brief drought in second half. Pawan then wins two points in as many raids once again and Bengaluru are now only 16-21 behind.

    Bengaluru were trying to stage a comeback as they took down Sachin and then won a raid point courtesy of Sumit Singh. Then Prapanjan was taken down by the Bengaluru defenders and they win three points in quick succession to make it 12-17.

    The pressure was on Bengaluru Bulls to perform in the second half but they have started in the worse possible style as Pawan Sehrawat is taken down quickly by the Gujarat defenders. He goes off the court now.

    Prapanjan comes up with a super raid just when it mattered the most and he wins four points (one bonus point). Rohit Kumar then is taken out once again and Gujarat head into the break with a comprehensive lead of 16-9.

    Gujarat Fortunegiants have turned the match on its ahead as they have raced away to take a big lead. Pawa and Rohit were taken out by Gujarat defenders in quick succession. Prapanjan then took their lead with a raid point. Gujarat lead 11-9.

    There is nothing to separate the two teams at the moment after 10 minutes being played in the first half. Prapanjan is grabbed for the second time tonight and he concedes a point for Gujarat.But then, Sachin wins a raid point after Rohit’s empty raid to level the match once again. Sachin then wins a bonus point before going down and the teams are now locked at 7-7.

    The match is now locked at 4-4 after seven minutes in the first half. Pawan Sehrawat won three raid points in as many raids for Bengaluru to take them into the lead for a brief period. But he was taken out by the Gujarat defenders and the match is evenly poised now.
